Founded by brothers Ali and Jousef El Dirani, AskPanama provides practical, Panama-based support for residency, business, real estate and relocation.
Real experience. Real relationships.
From first call to long-term support.
Properly registered in Panama.
English, Spanish & Arabic.
Ali arrived in Panama in 2015 without family, connections or Spanish. He learned the country the hard way—building businesses, dealing with local systems and discovering how costly the wrong advice can be.
Together with his brother Jousef, he created AskPanama so newcomers could have the clear guidance, trusted contacts and practical support they wished they had from day one.
AskPanama is not a large international firm where clients become another file. It is a hands-on, Panama-based team that stays involved before, during and after the process.

We moved to Panama from the Paris ( My wife and my daughter) and honestly had no idea what to expect. Before we arrived, Ali helped us get a really good rate at the Megapolis Hotel for our first days in the city. We had all our documents ready, and within two business days of arriving we already had our temporary residency cards. After that, Ali and his team helped us find an apartment on Avenida Balboa and negotiate a good deal on a two year lease. There were several things in the rental process that we probably wouldn’t have noticed on our own because of the language barrier, and they made sure everything was clear and that nobody took advantage of us. What I appreciated most was that they didn’t disappear after the residency appointment. They continued answering our questions and helping us settle in. Moving to another country with a family can be very stressful, but Ask Panama made the whole experience much easier.Posted on Google![]()

I used Ask Panama to help my family and me with our move to Panama, and I honestly don’t know how we would have done it without them. Jousef and his team were amazing from start to finish. They handled everything—from connecting us with trusted immigration attorneys, to finding a great apartment, helping us negotiate the lease, and even guiding us to the best schools for our kids. What really stood out was how responsive and patient Jousef was. No matter how many questions we had (and we had a lot!), he always made time to walk us through things. We felt supported every step of the way.Posted on Google![]()

If you are new to Panama and feel lost with all the forms and regulations, Ali will clearly explain everything and help you attain your Panama Residency, corporate or personal bank accounts, rental contracts, anything you need. He is fluent in Spanish and can solve any complicated registration/licensing issue you have. Ali helped me get my Police Record forms translated into Spanish and all the other documents required for residency. The entire process was seamless and very fast with AskPanama.Posted on Google![]()

I needed help for immigration, and my situation is a bit complicated. 3 lawyers before told me that it was not possible bla bla bla, that I should invest crazy amount in real estate etc. Their process was complicated and very expensive. One youtube friend gave me the contact of Ali from Ask Panama, so I gave it a shot. Directly he knew a good way for my situation, without having to pay crazy amount. Its been 3 months now since we start, I already have my temporary residency card, soon the permanent one, and had Ali and his team also helping me for apartament renting and to buy a car, without getting scam. Ask Panama are founded by 2 brothers that know Panama and all the tricks to have what we want without getting ripped off, thats not this typical 50 employees international law firm with 60 years old thats will charge you 7k for shit without any support and that often say "not possible sir" 🤣 THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY! Anyway. Also Ali gaves me many contacts, he knows too many people in the country, so good to network and to make friends directly.Posted on Google![]()

AskPanama has been an absolute godsend. From purchasing real estate to navigating Panama immigration, their support has been indispensable. In a country where getting things done often requires fluent Spanish, it's a huge relief to have a team I can communicate with clearly in English. Not all immigration specialists are created equal -- and in Panama, having the right connections can make all the difference. Fortunately, the AskPanama team has them. I've relied on them for everything from complex legal matters to the most tedious tasks that need a local nudge (like obtaining Panapass), and they've consistently delivered. At one point, I nearly overpaid for a property based on the advice of my former realtor. They caught on to what was happening and got me out of a terrible deal, including getting back the deposit. I can't count the number of times they've saved me from being taken advantage of. They have the right relationships to make things happen, and they're always just a call away. The AskPanama team is more than just consultants; they'll become trusted friends you can turn to with any problem. They're someone you can genuinely trust. If you're thinking about relocating to Panama or investing here, I can't recommend AskPanama enough. They make what could be a stressful process feel seamless. You really can't go wrong with them.
